This Book is Currently in the Wild!
5 journalers for this copy...
I really enjoyed this book. I'd previously read Elegance by Kathleen Tessaro and thought that was pretty fun fluff. This book has some aspects in common with that book (the gorgeous pianist, the female protagonist completely lacking in chutzpah), but seemed more well rounded and had more depth to me.
I connected with Evie on a number of levels, not least the whole being-overly-cautious-now-she's-a-mum level. (Although I've never had a wild True Love romance with a sexy rock god!) Hopefully she'll have appeal for other readers, for other reasons.
[NOTE: this is an uncorrected proof copy, in paperback. It's got a few typos, that hopefully didn't make it through to the final printing!]

I'm going to be sending this out on a bookray for Australia & New Zealand.
I'd rather have guidelines to participating in this ray, rather than rules. :)
1. Please journal the book when you receive it, and again with some thoughtful comments once you've read it.
2. Please pass it along in a timely fashion to the next person on the list. (If you haven't joined a ray before, just send the next person a PM, asking for their address, and then mail it to them. Easy peasy!)
3. If you can't take the book for whatever reason, please let me know and I'll move you down the list (or off the list altogether, if that's what you want).
4. Enjoy!
And I reserve the right to add in extra people as they discover this bookray. I don't want to set the recipient list in stone!

What a strange little book! I enjoyed it and I found that I related to Evie - not sure if that's just cause she's a mum, I definetely haven't had any wild love affairs with drug dealer/musician types.
I thought that the whole Robbie thing was a little bit odd. I almost think that I would have preferred the book if she wasn't in it (well at least if she didn't come back, that bit was just too weird!) I also had a little bit of trouble keeping track of all of her friends when the book kept shifting between time periods.
Overall an enjoyable read - and I'd be interested to read more by this author. Thanks so much for offering the book tqd. I've got miss-gonewest's address and will send off as soon as I have the chance.

Gracious me - I actually caught this book a long, looong time ago and totally forgot to journal it. It was so long ago that I can't even recall a good excuse!
I've just started reading this and will try and keep the ray going when I'm done.
I promise to come back and journal here with any updates.
Thanks to TQD for understanding and forgiving my tardines!

I found this book entirely intriguing – it wasn’t quite chick lit as there was a darker, sadder side to the story with details that aren’t usually found in fluffy novels; but it was easy to read and it really got me in.
I must say that the whole premise of Robbie’s ‘return’ grated a bit (but then I am a cynic), but half way through the book I wasn’t even conscious of it all and continued to read on.
I really enjoyed this book – there was just the right mix of romance, chick lit, suspense, sadness and intelligence to make this one darn good read. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to zone out and enter someone else’s life for a week or two.
Given I am the last stop on this ray, I’d like to share this with others so I’ll do a shout out in the forum to see if I can keep the ring going. If not, I just discovered a cosy little bookcrossing corner in a store near work the other day – I’ll drop this in there if I can’t keep it moving.
Thanks to TQD and apologies for holding up the ray – I just wish I’d read the book sooner!
