Get out your fork and dig into the 3L's as Melissa Jacobs affectionately calls her book, "Love, Life and Linguine." You'll LOVE this book! Melissa Jacobs serves up an intriguing chick lit heroine, Mimi Louis, a former Executive Consultant in the restaurant business. Move over Becky Bloomwood because Mimi Louis is in town - while Mimi isn't ditzy and can balance a check book you'll love the drama. Great supporting characters.

This sounds like a fun book - can't wait to dig in!! (Pun intended.)
I have WAY too many books, so this one is now available.
Going to my good buddy three104, who has no book shame. LOL
Hip Hip Pooh-ray! They arrived today.
This was fun but I wish she could've been more decisive about who she wanted to be with. I know who I was voting for but we never find out. It was nice to see Mimi make the 'right' decision about the restaurant.
Sending this off to Noumena today, who picked it out of the Romance VBB.
Thanks Three!!
From the Publisher
Restaurant consultant par excellence and confirmed romantic Mimi Louis has already launched some of Philly's hottest high-end eateries, while transforming her boyfriend Nick into a sought-after celebrity chef. And what thanks does she get for her efforts? She finds the cad cavorting with another wom an! Heartbroken -- her cherished belief in One True Soulmate suddenly in the trash with last night's leftovers -- the betrayed "Restaurant Diva" takes drastic action: she starts over.
Returning home to New Jersey, Mimi sets her sights on rescuing the now-failing family business, Café Louis, determined to forget about love, sex, and all that other nonsense. Unfortunately, there's a menu full of tasty, available men right across the counter. Maybe her romantic hunger strike isn't the answer. Maybe it's time Mimi began selecting her men the way she picks pastries and produce, by sampling all the best before choosing a main dish.
Because life, after all, should be a banquet . . .
