Journal Entry 1 by mammajamma from Las Cruces, New Mexico USA on Tuesday, November 26, 2002
"The story of Corrie ten Boom and her family who, during the Nazi invasion and occupation of Holland, became leaders in the Dutch Underground, hiding Jewish people in their home in a specially built room and aiding their escape from the Nazis. For their help, all but Corrie found death in a concentration camp". Very moving story. Amazing to me that someone could keep their faith in humanity and God during the entire concentration camp ordeal. A very special book, in my opinion.

Journal Entry 4 by MaryZee from Taneytown, Maryland USA on Friday, May 23, 2003
Just finished this today. Inspiring story of hope, during the darkest times. I had never heard of this story before. This is on my daughter's (school) summer reading list. If she's not interested, I'll probably pass this on there.

Journal Entry 5 by MaryZee from Taneytown, Maryland USA on Saturday, September 13, 2003
My daughter read this over the summer (it was on her school's summer reading list, and she just had a test on it). Going to try to get her to do a journal entry on it - she just joined BC (Giftoftheocean). Might pass this on at her school, or possibly at a book fair this fall. Thanks again, MammaJamma.

Mary Zee passed this book on to me at a bookfair. I saw the movie, which was good, but the book is much better.

This book was sent to me by mail from alleygata. I really appreciate her taking time to send it. I will read it soon and either past it on to a friend or release it into the wild.
