I really liked Slaughter House Five, so this if my foray in more Vonnegut. I think his books start out like a tangle of loose threads and end as a woven carpet. I'm always surprised how he puts it all together.
Amazon Editorial Review:
One of Vonnegut's major works, this is an apocalyptic tale of the planet's ultimate fate, featuring a cast of unlikely heroes.

After a slow start (and picking it up and putting it down several times) I finally got into this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. Love the way Vonnegut can be bleak and hilarious at the same time, and how his characters speak to the human condition.
This book is now back on the 1001 library bookshelf and can be borrowed by PMing ayntastic:)

Thank you so much for sending this! This has been on my wishlist for ages, because I too enjoyed Slaughterhouse-Five. So I snapped it up for my turn in the US/Can 1001-Library VBB!
