Beautifully written, which to me is the best part. Lovely store of an orphan and his life. Good characters. I will definitely be reading more John Irving.

Outside on a bench in front.
Outside on a bench in front.
I caught this book in Sun City, Arizona outside the library. I was going to take the book back into the library when I saw the sticky note that said it was free - not lost. I took the book with me and continued my vacation in Arizona going to Lake Roosevelt to fish. The book kept me company on the boat when the fish weren't biting. I brought it home with me to Frisco, Colorado. I have about 200 more pages to read and then I will release the book somewhere in Summit County - a ski resort area with visitors from all over the world.
I kept this book for a month waiting for tourists to come back to Summit County, Colorado. Ski season was over and the summer visitors don't really get here until June. So today, I released this book in Keystone, Colorado. I left it on a bench near the outdoor gas fire in River Run Village. Several people were around. I hope someone picked up the book.
