5 out of 10

O'Rourke uses his imitable wit to shed the best light possible on the world's major woes: poverty, famine, overpopulation, etc. Being a humorist, he doesn't solve the world's problems, of course; he just makes them easier to live with. Top-notch writing, as always.

Northeast corner, on the low wall by the bus stop...possibly one more O'Rourke book is coming your way eventually. But I'm keeping "Parliament of Whores", his best.
