FROM THE PUBLISHER
Emma sees naked people (not necessarily a bad thing!)Emma Hutch's upscale Manhattan clients call her the "Good Witch." Her uncanny telepathic abilities enable her to plant images into unsuspecting minds, which has made her New York's most successful professional matchmaker. After all, what bachelor, confirmed or otherwise, could deny his true destiny when the woman he can't seem to stop thinking about suddenly appears right in front of him? Now an all-too-perfect blonde socialite needs Emma's help to snare the most eligible single man in the city -- all in a day's work for the Good Witch.Except William Dearborn -- visual artist, software genius, total hunk, and dedicated hedonist -- is not so easily snared. And he's becoming a little too interested in the desperate matchmaking sorceress who's been following him all around town incognito. Emma doesn't have to be psychic to know what's going on in his mind. William's having very wicked thoughts indeed about the Good Witch . . . and Emma likes it! But she's got to resist his special brand of magic . . . or else her witchy career is going up in flames.

Antheras picked this up in the BookRelayers Paranormal Romance Swap. Of course, SandDanz had to read it first. So I'm mailing to SandDanz and she will take it to Antheras at the 2006 BC Convention in Toronto.

Happy Reading!

Okay, I can't say I truly enjoyed this book. It had some funny moments and the storyline was good for the most part, but there were some very dull moments and times where the story just didn't "flow". I'm a little hesitant to try some of the otehr Valerie Frankel books I have on Mt. TBR now, but I guess I'll give her another try... maybe her regular chick lit is better than her attempt at a paranormal romance kinda book.

Putting this on reserve to get back out to Antheras... thanks for letting me be the go-between!

This was so much fun that I devoured it in one sitting, on Christmas Eve. I should have been packing to go to my parents and instead, I was captivated by Emma's life! I'm going to pass this to my friend A. here in town before passing it on to another bookcrosser.

I should have known when I took this book from Antheras today that since it has a pink cover it must be from noumena!

I haven't really read much paranormal romance so I thought I would give this a shot. Thanks for bringing it!

One of my first Paranormal Romances! Emma, 'The Good Witch', makes a living (or lack there of) by transmitting pictures of her clients into the thoughts of men in hopes of getting her clients dates. But with a new she-devil of a client, she starts to question herself and her life. Of course, such a book isn't complete without a hunk (and this one happens to be rich AND British) by the name of William Dearborn, who Emma has an instant connection with. But he is the guy that she is supposed to be transmitting pictures to for her new client. Dare she mix work with pleasure?
This was a really cute and fun book. The story flowed pretty smoothly with enough suspense and romance to keep me turning the pages. Emma and William were both easy to like, and all of the other characters were very quirky. I'd love to read a side story about Victor! He was a laugh. Although at points there were so many back characters around (specifically when she was inviting people for her party) that I couldn't quite remember who was who. If you're looking for a cute, fluffy read you should consider picking this one up.
