I won't try to describe this book (it's been quite some time since I picked up an Adams book), so I'll let you decide what this book is about. I've included the amazon.com review page so that you can get the general idea of what this book is about. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0671746723/qid=1142444572/sr=8-3/ref=pd_bbs_3/002-9736692-6448054?n=507846&s=books&v=glance

Journal Entry 5 by scifitechguy from Longview, Texas USA on Tuesday, April 18, 2006
I just recieved the book in the mail yesterday, and I'm happily making my way through the chapters, enjoying every page and DNA quirk, which so far have been quite plentiful (Makes sense, doesn't it, for a book written by Douglas Adams to have the writing style of Douglas Adams? I think so, and I'm sure the flock of teraflamingulls flying over brookshire would agree, that is, if they could read english. Teraflamingulls have never been good at anything in particular, except flying back and forth over brookshire, and this puzzled the residents of brookshire greatly, until one of them realized that this was all a fabrication, and that none of it mattered anyway.) :-) I'm only through Chapter 5, but I believe I shall make quick work of this book yet, in order that the next person in the book ray might enjoy it as soon as possible!

Oh man, I can't believe it's been a month! Well, that's how long I've had the book read for... So sorry. My apologies to the rest of the bookray. Anyways, I've finally gone to the Post Office and sent it off, with tracking number 0305 2710 0001 1338 9166. Share and enjoy!

Journal Entry 12 by katintheboots from Ventura, California USA on Monday, November 20, 2006
I rather enjoyed this book. At the start everything is a little spread out, but it all comes together in classic Adams fashion. Now that I've read this, the only Adams book that I haven't read is The Long, Dark Tea-Time of the Soul. I PMed verbdancer for an address this afternoon before I finished the book, but I haven't heard back yet.

I just couldn't get into this one. I want to think that it was because of my busy schedule during the holidays. I am a huge Douglas Adams fan, so I will definitely have to try this one again later. I sent the book to verbdancer yesterday.
