Part 1of a a four part sweeping story of Brittish India in World War II and through independence. The books are famous for the TV series (note the cover) but deserve to be famous in their own right. They are well-written; highly detailed characters and intricate plots that draw you in. This is the second copy I have released, I think I need to release the other three books as well.
