Journal Entry 4 by KimberleeV from Yorktown, Virginia USA on Friday, March 31, 2006
For the most part, I enjoyed A Wedding In December. The ending left me wanting a little bit more though...as Anita Shreve books often do. I like things tied up nice and neat at the end without any lingering questions. I really can't say anything else without spoiling the book for others. Thanks Rrrcaron for offering this book ring! Sent off today to DietCokeMama in Massachusetts via Media Mail! Enjoy!!!

Journal Entry 6 by dietcokemama from Beverly, Massachusetts USA on Monday, April 24, 2006
I finished this book last week and will be mailing it to kimsbooks03 today. I really liked it, having just gone to my reunion last fall I could really identify with the idea or reconnecting with old friends and reestablisting old relationships. It's the first Anita Shreve book that I've read and I think I will definetly read more. Thank you Rrrcaron for offering this book for a ring. Update: The book has been mailed and is on it's way to kimsbooks03.

Journal Entry 8 by kimsbooks03 from Scranton, Pennsylvania USA on Friday, May 26, 2006
I just finished this book tonight. I did enjoy this book as I have all of Anita Shreve's books that I have read. I have to say that I didn't want the "sub" story of Innes to end. I was left wanting a few more pages to find out what really did happen. I guess this way I get to decide the fate of Harrison. Just waiting on mailing info from the next person. Thank you Rrrcaron for allowing me to read this.

Journal Entry 11 by OneMorePage from Mission Viejo, California USA on Sunday, June 18, 2006
Really, really enjoyed this book. Anita Shreve books really sneak up on you. She has a subtle writing style that seems innocent enough - until suddenly you look up and realize you have been ignoring the housework and the kids for the past 3 hours, because you were so engrossed in the book. (Or is that just me???!!) As with the plot of a previous book of hers ("Where or When") I do not buy the premise of ruining a family life for the sake of a 30+ year old romance (without giving anything away, I am talking specifically about Harrison, Bill, and Bridget). Still, I think she writes well enough to make flawed people interesting. And in the end, I wouldn't say I root for those characters; but I do hope they find happiness somehow, and I am compelled to wonder 'how they end up'. Will send this out to Moraelyn ASAP. Thank you so much for including me on this ring!
