I'm in the middle of reading this right now. It's a about a young girl who stumbles upon a spell and then a whole other world of magic. I bought this because I loved the cover and I intend to send it to my Kindred Spirit when I'm done with it.

I just finished reading this. I thought it was a good, creative fantasy and I really enjoyed the world Katherine Roberts created. I really like fantasy worlds linked to our own, as is the one in this book, so that was a happy surprise when I started reading. It was definitely a book for young readers, but I still enjoyed the magic and adventure and the world. Definitely a nice example of a well-created fantasy world, and there's even a glossary in the back. I especially liked the way the author involved the familiars and the wisdom and magic of the trees. And I definitely fell in love with dear K'tanaqui *pets*

I plan to pass this on to my KS in a care package.
