Although the setting was quite different, this felt a lot like Count Zero, in that there were two narratives spiraling toward one another. Like pellets of matter and antimatter rolling down the proverbial gravity funnel, and when they collide, kablooie. And then all is well.
I find it interesting that Gibson's later books are less futuristic and more realistic than his earlier ones. This was still pretty good, but I'd say I liked Pattern Recognition a little bit better.
