Sent to me as an Amazon suprise by my friend Liz (after her visit in March 2006)
This was a brilliant book, about the choices we make in our youth and their impact on our adult lives. It's about the 17 year old Karen who stays in a coma for 17 years and has to deal with the changes of the world when she wakes up. But in fact it's more about the changes that have happened to her friends in the meantime. The ending is odd but powerful!
