Just traveled to an island in Florida for a certification review for occupational health nursing. Picked this to read on the trip since I would be on the coast where fishermen are. Later realized that it was also very applicaple to my conference topic as we were talking about occupational health issues, and this book is about the dangers of sea fishing.

The book reminded me of Snow Falling on Cedars in the way it described life on the sea. You get the feeling of the sea, the isolation, the fog.

An interesting read. Thank you for sharing it with me! What a surprise! I looked on Cliffs and there are no current wishers for the book, so I will be looking something else to send along as a RABCK to someone in honor of you, just because that's what I like to do. Thank you again!
