Just finished the book.
It is a really beautiful love story! I'm just sorry it is such a small book. I would like to have this story told in 500 pages!
I saw the film and I also loved it! Strangely enough I can say that I liked the film better, but the book was somehow stronger...I can't really explain it...
I loved every minute of this reading!

It was the first book I read from this writer. It's ok, I liked it, but I don't think the book is better than the movie, which is very well done and very very sensitive. I think that Ang Lee did a great job with this movie. So, the book didn't suprised me. Thanks for the chance to read it, SomethingSimple. On his way to next person as soon as I get the adress.

i haven't yet seen the movie because i wnated to read the book first. and i must say that it was good. all the roughness of the beginning turns out to be pure sweetness.
if one can see that from just reading i imagine that the film will be soberb.

sorry for taking so long but a friend had to had to read the book so i lend it to him.:)
