Equus (Plays, Penguin)

It was a well-written, social commentary type play. However, I did not enjoy it very much. Personally, I love horses and it horrified me...well the play was disturbing. But most likely required reading for any and all theatre majors.

I'm sorry it took me such a long time to read it. Since there was no one expecting it, I read some bookrings first. I found it highly disturbing and I imagine it to be a real challenge to stage, perform and even watch.
I'll see if someone in Portugal wants to read it bedfre it returns do CaBoheme. Thanks, CB, for sharing.

As previously said this is a disturbing play indeed, but I really enjoyed reading it!
At times one can almost perfectly picture a stage in front of one's eyes and being at the theatre, being so absorbed in the reading as I was...
I think I would enjoy to see this on stage but, as Marcenda put it, it must be quite a challenge to do so!
Thanks a lot for this opportunity, Marcenda and CaBoheme. It is now available to get back home.

I recieved the book awhile back I think. I found the package unopened on my desk this morning, it must have gotten missed in the paper shuffle.
