For centuries, they have peacefully coexisted with ordinary humans in Canada. But now death had invaded the peaceful retreat of their London, Ontario farm. For someone had learned their most closely guarded secret. Someone who knew they were werewolves and whoever it was was determined to destroy them all.

Just finished reading this second novel in Tanya Huff's "Blood"-Series. I enjoyed it very much. This story focuses not so much on vampires, but mainly on werewolves and Mrs. Huff takes quite a different take on it than other authors do. I liked that a lot.
Someone is killing the members of a werewolf pack and Henry asks Vicky to investigate. The story is fast paced and it was nice to meet all those new characters. Mike is slowly - if involuntarily - involved in the supernatural. It'll be interesting to follow his development in the novels to come!
Thanks for sharing gailcm. I'll try to send the book on to joasik sometime next week.

RELEASE NOTES:

On the way to joasik. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did!

These are the friendliest werewolves I have ever come across. I want to keep the little one, please. And they have a sense of humour. What do the sheep on that farm make of it??? Good case, I like Vicki, I like Henry, especially when he is having one of his little flash backs. Celluci is as annoying as in the first book, but develops quite nicely during the course of it.
I immediately started book #3 after finishing this one - can't wait for the next one!

I liked this one as much as the first in the series. I loved the werewolves. It was so good to have a werewolf family that enjoyed being what they were. It will be interesting to see where the Mike, Henry and Vicky triangle goes.

Posting to Luintaurien when I have finished the next book.
