Good detective work and the information about the used book business is fascinating. This is No. 2 in the series.

Thank you Iojima. I'll be starting to read this later today, arrived at just the right time as I finished a book last night.

Last year I read 2 other books with an Edgar Allan Poe connection; The American Boy by Andrew Taylor & Entombed by Linda Farstein so I'm looking forward to this.

What a great read, I really enjoyed this. I found the style easy to read & at the same time very informative, loved all the stuff about the booktrade. Who knew such skull duggery could occur in the sale of books, the authors knowledge of the trade is apparent. I'll definitely look for the previous book & any others he has written.

Thank you Iojima for the chance to read a new author.

I have AnglersRest's details so will get this off in the next couple of days.

Thank you for the chance to read this new author and I wasn't disappointed. I finished this book over the weekend and found it informative, whilst keeping me in suspence. I've added this author to my list for others in the series.

Off to the next reader just as soon as I have an address, for flannerstheflan.

Thanks so much for this - it looks great. I've had three rings arrive this week, so it'll take me a day or two to get round to it!

This was great! As a bookseller myself -in an extremely minor way! - I found all the industry detail absolutely riveting. I've been reading a lot of very intense stuff lately so it was nice to get to grips with something for sheer entertainment. Very enjoyable!

Off to Aubriel next . . .

I really enjoyed this book, as I did the previous one. Very well written with great attention to detail.

Thanks for sharing this.

It is now on its way to Runanderson

Journal Entry 17 by RuAnderson from Stevenage, Hertfordshire United Kingdom on Wednesday, July 26, 2006
This book was responsible for more "Shuss!" imperatives and explicatives than any other I've read for a while. I did NOT want to be disturbed! Very readable great fun. will definitly look out for rest of the series.

Also made me realise that I will never ever ever be up to the intelectual rigour and endless searching which is required to be a book seller! ( My long suffering better half likes the book for this alone.)

(Well ok I'll never be a full time bookseller.....)

PM'ing heathwitch for address.

Well... Try as I might, I couldn't actually get into this book at all -- I can't exactly say why though. Just wasn't happening for me :( So I'm mailing it onto sunlightbub today.

Journal Entry 22 by Sunnybubble from Wallasey, Merseyside United Kingdom on Thursday, October 19, 2006
I didn't enjoy this one as much as book one in the series, but once again I did like the way the author brought so much of the life of a 'bookman' to the story.
It's gone to Amsterdam and back with me this weekend, and I've pm'd Iojima for her address to return it back.

THanks for sharing xxx
