July 11, I was muddling along, finishing my daily walk, climbing what we refer to as "Mt. Mechanicsburg" in Memorial Park when up ahead something caught my eye. It could have been trash blown against the tree but it looked too tidy, too inviting. I was excited like I had won the lottery! Then as I held it I looked around to see if this was some sort of weird day camp game . . . soon I would be overrun with gleeful grade schoolers who would take it back and proclaim a successful trick! (Ok, I have to admit, that would have been lots of fun too!)This most wonderful treasure - a book that travels, a combination of things I love - books, travel, fun, and mystery! I haven't finished reading it but it will travel with me until I do then it will make someone else's day!
The evening of my find the Simpson Public Library Board of Trustees met and I was able to share this very unique "library" with my fellow trustees!
