Mailed to summerbreeze along with the two other books as a ring.
Crap I forgot to register these books when they came in. I am soooo sorry, they came in the mail, I opened the parcel, put the books away because I had company come over for a few days and then had to go and work crazy hours. Anyway, I am home, organizing etc and came across the books and realized I had them for a week and a bit now. I have one book ring ahead of this one, so I will get to them as soon as I can.
This was such a great read. I did a few months ago and borrowed the CD version of this book, and it was hilareous. So now I have her british accent, shocks etc in my head, which added to the reading. I just started Manhattan today the second I finished reading this one because I just have to find out how she handles her shopaholic splurges in New York :)

Arrived today. Will start reading immediately!
Loved it! It's a good job I'm on holidays 'cos I ended up staying up until 3am finishing it! I've never met anyone who can justify anything as well as Becky. Even though she made my cringe at times, I couldn't help but like her. It made me want to go out shopping:)

I´ve got a few bookrings ahead of these 3 but since OliveOils works with me I´ll be able to share with her maybe that way it will be quicker.

I simply loved them 3 Shopaholic. I found Rebecca hilarious, UNIQUE. Had me in stitches throughout the books, I found myself laughing out loud many times *-)
P.S.: Although Oliveoils didnt make any journal entries, I know she enjoyed the "Shopaholic" rings!

it had been waiting for me in the postoffice for a while, but with the holidays, i didn't have the time to go and get it.

these really are great reads!
the problem is, as i read them all, during the weekend, and as fast as i could, it feels as one single book.
it is hilarious, and i do love the letters to and from the bank. life is so much nice with a bit of fun in it, isn't it?
i've been waiting for a reply from andthings, to send the ring to her. maybe i'll be able to do it next monday.

as andthings didn't answer the pm's i sent, the ring is now traveling to finland, to hetku77. i expect it to arrive there in a week or two.
27.1. I picked a big package from the post office today and this was one of the books in it.

14.5. I finished the book already on Friday, but I didn't have time to write a proper journal entry before today. Rebecca, the shopaholic, annoyed me a bit in the beginning, as she seemed so shallow - not that I expected anything else. But while reading the book I started to see the more humane side of her. The book was easy and relatively fast to read. All in all I enjoyed the book and it was really funny too.
I do HAVE TO make corrections to the Finnish translations in the book, on page 167:
"Neiti Bloomwood," he says cheerfully. "Nautin erittäin paljon tapaamisestamme. Onko totta, että teillä on jonkinlainen yhteys Suomeen?". The guy's name probably should also be Jani Virtanen (Jan is a Swedish name).

i found this book really frustrating. mostly because i've been in the same situation before and gotten over it. Becky is a really fun character, not unlike Bridget Jones, but a total ditz....who puts on their resume that they are fluent in a language they've never even studied?
i was not in a bubbly mood last week, and i almost quit on this book a few times. but i have this bad habit of not being able to leave books unfinished.....
