I, Lucifer: Finally, the Other Side of the Story
7 journalers for this copy...
Great book! Very funny, it's is fun to hear the *other* side of the greatest story ever told.
Controlled release to co-worker.
Alright, So this book has travelled to two other people. My co-worker and her son. Though neither journalled on it. I now have it back in my posession and will bring it to the BC meet-up.

Received today, thanks for sending kz4ufo. I have Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal at present to read, so I'm hoping that I can read close together and get a double whammy of 'alternative' religion.
I did find the religious references in this book very humourous, but I also found many of the passages very dark. I thought that the author portrayed the devil and his language very well, and very unique in it's concept.
I am now looking to set up as a ray.
SPOILER (Highlight to see)
Did you notice the connection of the author with the main character?

I suppose there has to be some rules for this bookray. Try and get the book read and sent to the next person on the list within a month, although I know that some will want to read the others in the series before this one. If this will be a problem (due to life's pressures or too many book rings arriving at once) then let me know I'm sure we can find a solution. Let's try to keep this moving at a regular pace.

Arrived today,or maybe yesterday. Thanks molekilby.

And thanks too for the postcard & fridge magnet ... took a moment to realise you hadn't sent two Pen & Wig cards.
Anyway, the book.
Read it in a single sitting (or rather lying, no pun intended) on Friday night. I really enjoyed the references and the humour, particularly the nested asides and deviations which would have cost him dearly had he ever made it to 'Just a minute'.
It is currently being followed by Richard Dawkins' 'The God Delusion' which has already made an interesting comment - scathing of course - about the various cohorts of angels, so all in all a rather anti-theistic weekend really!
Oh & yes, I did notice the matter alluded to in the spoiler.
PMing 4orty7even for an address.

RELEASE NOTES:
Well, it did take awhile - sorry for the delay folks.
I half enjoyed and half hated this book. Some of the writing is superb and it flows really well, but at other times it just seems to drag (part of the reason I took so long). Overall, the story is good, just a bit too intense.

Sorry for the delay in journaling the book''s arrival. I''ve started reading it. I''m not liking it much at the moment but will carry on further and give it a chance.

I''m sorry, I''m not making any headway with this book. I think it''s better if I just send it on.
I''m intrigued by the premise of this book, and can''t wait to be able to read the spoiler I spotted in a previous entry.
I''m without reading at the moment, so I''ll start this sometime today, and let you know what I think of it.
Thanks!
