This looks like total trashy fabulousness. I hope it lives up to the comparison to Janet Evanovich!
Journal Entry 2 by GlitterLover from Leyland, Lancashire United Kingdom on Tuesday, November 21, 2006
I thought this woudl be a quick trashy read - I got far more involved with the characters than I intended to.
The focus of the book is an actor who lands an importnant role in a play, people start dropping dead and she appears to be at the centre of it. It is engaging and while it is clumsy in the way the plot works it is enjoyable and comfortable to read.

RELEASE NOTES:
Looks like a fun read. Thanks for sharing, GlitterLover, and for shipping it around the world, totoroandmei. :D Finishing up a journal here, but I'm all caught up with rings and rays. So this one arrived with perfect timing.
I also got sucked into the characters' lives alot more than I expected. The ending was rushed, but I enjoyed the build up till the mystery was solved. I'll be looking for more books by this author.
Thanks GlitterLover for sharing this. I already have ZAS's address and this will be going out in the morning.

I really enjoyed reading this book... nothing trashy about it!
I loved the main character, a struggling actress who finds herself in the middle of a murder spree...
The plot is interesting, and it keeps you guessing. Lots of interesting characters, the writer knows what she is writing about!
And what can we say about Hamlet? I am currently dog-sitting for a cousin, so it seemed quite fitting!
There is a lot of research about Multiple Sclerosis as well...
Some quotes:
"I hate those movies where the heroine, ignoring a zillion warning signs, goes alone at midnight into the house/factory/attic. I mean, if I'm scared enough to leave the front door open in case I need to flee an attacker... I hear the audience scream warnings at me, beg me to go across the hall and call the police. (...) The reason the frightened movie heroines don't call the police is because they are embarrassed by their fear. It's probably nothing. It's probably all in my mind. Better to risk a mad attacker than public embarrassment." (I agree wholeheartedly with this!)
"One of the very best things about living alone is eating exactly the way I want. Dunking, wiping, sipping, slurping." (LOL!)
Thanks, Glitterlover, for introducing me to Susan Sussman (see pic). This was her first novel, I'll see if I can find any others.
This book will continue its travels shortly.
