This book was very good. There is a dog that dropped a heart, I forget the dog's name and drops it by Olive's house. Olive tries to take it back, but the dog's house is not stuck together where they live, it is somewhere else. Olive gets the heart over there, and the dog said it was for Olive. The dog helped Olive open the heart up and there was lots of stuff to eat for lunch.

Journal Entry 7 by Lobodyke from Bardstown, Kentucky USA on Friday, September 22, 2006
Thanks so much for sending this to me, guinaveve. What a nice surprise! I love the "Olive" books, and so does my niece. For now, I'm keeping this one for my PC, and will probably buy a new one for her. I sat down and read this almost as soon as it arrived yesterday. It was as wonderful as the the original "Olive" book; it was made even more so by the fact that the male dog in the book is named "Dexter", the name of my current foster dog (see my bookshelf for a picture of him).
