It was on the newspaper rack outside the Basement Bookstore. I'm surprised to find it 3 months after release.

I read it on my train trip home and enjoyed thencalming thoughts especially as the train was stopped at Berowra because a woman passed out and apparently died. We all had to get a train back a station to squeeze on the next one out to the Central Coast.

This little book quotes from many sources and finishes with my favourite: "If the only prayer you say in your entire life is 'Thank you', that would suffice.

A diary of Earth Prayers. A journal to write your own thoughts in.

I am offering this one as an International bookring for other BCers to write some thoughts to share about the Earth our home. All I ask for those in the ring is to write at least one verse and to put their BC name at the bottom.

arrived today, thank you :)

Journal Entry 9 by rem_NXS-581865 on Friday, September 8, 2006
the prayer i chose for writing my own thoughts is (somewhat ironically) a little verse about the tree... as i put pen to paper i heard the announcement that Peter Brock had a fatal encounter with a tree, so i just made a little note in his memory instead.
sending it to -Bodhi- next.

Received safely :) What an absolutely beautiful idea eris-in-oz!

Journal Entry 11 by isian from Engadine, New South Wales Australia on Saturday, September 23, 2006
passed on through -Bhodi-.

The second page gave me the lightening effect ~
'The earth spirit has been laid down
It is covered over with growing things,
It has been laid down
The earth is beautiful'

Back to -Bhodi- it goes...

A lovely book and a great idea for a Ring eris-in-oz :) Just a shame that a book of prayers for the Earth had to limit itself to printing on only one side of each page... At least BCers who enjoy this book can help fill up some of the space.

This is such a beautiful book filled with such gorgeous thoughts, I'm glad it has past through my hands.

I hope you don't mind I have put two verses in here, as one was just a short haiku.

I shall PM empty straight away and get this in the post.

*edit* Woops, appears there's no one called empty, so silly me, I guess where it said empty it actually meant that that part was empty. I feel like such a goose!
