Arrived safely today, and it's a biggie - 1000+ pages!! I'm looking forward to catching up with Jamie & Claire, I'll get started on it as soon as I finish up the book I'm currently reading. Thank you, gailcm!

Wow..I finished this one over the snowy weekend and I'm exhausted, LOL! I enjoyed the varied settings and I was happy to see that the plot seemed to flow smoother than the previous book. I wonder how the characters will develop from here on in, as they are considerably older now (approaching 50)? It was also a surprise to see a character that I thought was dead re-appear into the picture, too..I wonder if that is the last that we will hear from them!
I am afraid that I am going to have to ask if I can be bumped to the back of the queue for the next couple books, as Uni work is getting the better of me at the moment :o(
Thank you, Gailcm for offering these great books - I have Vespas address, and will post this out to her early in the week.

ETA: posted to Vespa on 17/03/06

Arrived safely this morning. Am half way through my current book, so I should get to this later on in the week. I can't wait to get started on it :-)

Superb. I was constantly on edge, wondering what would happen next. I can't wait to read the next instalment. I have an idea about what will happen, so it will be interesting to see if I am right or if the plot veers off on a totally unexpected tangent.
Passing on to Anglers Rest now

Arrived today, thanks vespa. This is my fourth ring, but should get moving within the month due to holiday in Scotland in a couple of weeks.

Taken to Scotland with me as part of Ring mountain (7 books!) I started this on 22nd April and completed on 25th! It was a book that I was reluctant to put down and I can't wait to read the next book.

I have CatrionaMoore's address, so the book will be on the post on 2nd May.

Oh the pain of it! I have the book I am currently reading, which is going incredibly slowly, and another ring ahead of this one.

It arrived safely about 10 minutes ago, if you hadn't guessed.

What messes doesn’t James Alexander Malcolm Fraser get himself into? I too have a sneaky feeling what is going to happen now that the Frasers find themselves in The New World. Jamie is aging well; it must be all this nefarious activity that is keeping him fit and healthy.

Just spent a week in the Scottish Highlands and was imagining what it must have been like for them living out in the open there. I am with catrionamoore regarding Jamie...I wish my husband was aging as well as him!
Although I am enjoying these books credulity is being stretched very thin with the number of times Jamie has been at death's door and is STILL able to fight everyone off single handed.
I am posting this off to morphia surface mail to the U.S.

Just to say that the book has arrived with me safe and sound, thank you Morpha. I'm a bit confused as I don't seem to have read book 2. But will read and pass this one on as soon as possible, although I have a couple of books to read ahead of this one.

Phheeew. That was a ride of a book. Although I am with Teachie in that Mr Fraser's constant escapes from near death are stretching creduality beyond belief. Gailcm I don't think I am on the rings for the books beyond this one, but would loved to be added as these are a great escape from course reading.
