This wasn't half bad. A little on the deliberately literary side perhaps, but a good little book. It's narrated by a girl from Burma who's father is a key figure in some sort of revolution there. However, when the revolution is, erm, revolted against, she and her older brother are sent to the States to begin a new life. With their father missing and his whereabouts unknown the narrator and her brother struggle to come to terms with life in a completely alien culture.
