The ten pages of this book that I managed to read before I *lost* it were brilliant! I'm now truly suckered into this book but fear that a day of heat and salt water in Apollonas has led me to abandon it either on the beach in Apollon or on the bus back to Naxos town. I would dearly love to have finished this story and will check back with the bus depot before leaving the island in the morning to see if it's been handed in. For the moment though it's definitely in the wild!
