Journal Entry 2 by meganh at Baldwin Street in Dunedin, Otago New Zealand on Friday, February 17, 2006
I found the book on the bench at the top of the world´s steepest street in Dunedin as a nice reward for the exhausting ascendency :P. I enjoyed it and read it to my partner. Then I released the book a few weeks later between Christmas and New Year´s Day on a camping tour through New Zealand in Fjordland. It can be found in the Milford Sound Lodge in the Lounge and I hope that it will be found next time by a child, who hopefully also enjoyes it as I did! Happy New Year 2007! :)

Caught the book in the beautiful setting of Milford sound and proceeded to hike the Kepler track in sourthern New Zealand with the book safely in my pack :) Elmo entertained me when all the sandflies were attempting to get into the tent!

I was actually sent the book by my boyfriend who is currently travelling NZ. I guess that explains how it managed to get all the way to the other side of the world, from one rainy place to another! It really brought a smile to my face and I hope it continues to do so!

My Aunt left it at my Gran and Papa''s house in Kilbirnie, Ayrshire where my Papa read it to my little brother. We brought it back to Kirkintilloch, Glasgow where we live. Now we''re going to set it free in Edinburgh because there will be lots of people from all over the world there for the festival.

How appropriate that this little book which was first released in Dunedin is now in Edinburgh! Dunedin's architecture is based on the architecture of Edinburgh (even to the levelling and creating of hills to replicate Edinburgh) and was first settled by the Scots. Happy travelling little book.
Sorry for the anonymous entry above (we forgot to register first).
Just to say - the teacher who found the book at Bolton Abbey in Yorkshire was my Aunt. One of her pupils made the journal entry, then passed the book to me and my brother.
Yesterday (4th August) we left the book inside a sentry box outside Edinburgh Castle.

Hope it''s found and passed on soon.
