Journal Entry 1 by SCOUT-FINCH from Sherman Oaks, California USA on Saturday, February 4, 2006
In my haste to finally get started releasing books for maggiemuffet's Valentine's Day Challenge, I grabbed this book off the pile of books that I *thought* I had registered and had all ready to go. Released it at the Sherman Oaks Public Library in the Ladies' Room, feeling proud that I had begun. Got home to a PM from BCer bibliochild, who in a remarkable serendipitous
stroke of luck, had found said book. With no BCID. She'd noticed that I've released a bunch of books there before and wondered if it was my release!! How lucky can a BCer get? (I mean me, but I guess her too!)
So thanks to an eagle-eyed BCer, I have my first release..and catch! for the Valentine's Day Challenge. Thanks, bibliochild!

No problem, Scout-Finch! It was luck for both of us. Anyway, the book's labeled and ready to go. Not really the sort of thing I read, so it's getting released into the wild tomorrow afternoon.

(PS Your cute cover label has inspired me -- need to find time to whip up some of my own. :) )

I found the book at UCLA and am planning on reading and then releasing it elsewhere. And let me say that this is one of the most interesting projects that I have ever heard of. :-)
