This book was originally given to me by a friend who had never heard of bookcrossing but who has been doing it for a long time. He had read and enjoyed the book and gave it to me.

I really enjoyed it too, can relate to the concept very much. Often I just know things and it can then take a long time to dig up the facts to support it but invariably the instant knowledge is right.
Always enjoy reading about how our minds work.

I really enjoyed this - it's a intriguing book. I especially found the section on reading facial expressions and Gottman's coding system for married couples fascinating. Thank you for sharing Bookworm-BNE.

Posting onwards when I've confirmed alinci-g's details.

Arrived Thursday. Many thanks. It looks easy to read and I am looking forward to reading it. Hopefully I will learn something.

I was wondering if I could get through this book but one page in and I was hooked. Even my husband read it from cover to cover and when I told my sister about it she rushed off and borrowed it from the library. I also printed off some of his articles from the internet but have not got to them yet. Now its on to Wirigerie.

I was rushing around getting ready for a meeting and I heard a thump outside. I thought to myself that the newspaper man was late this morning but No! it was the postie with a book for me!

I was a tad disappointed in this book. Don't get me wrong - It was a very interesting read (so much so that my mother flinched it from me while I was babysitting my nephew and got it back to me within a week) but I was hoping for some suggestions on how to make sure those snap judgements were the true ones and not false.

The only suggestions were become an expert and slow time down. Neither of which are always (or even often) possible.

Still it was a good read. I had trouble putting it down when I needed to. Thanks for the opportunity to read it. On to catsalive next.

Fascinating stuff. I'd love to be an expert of facial expressions & body language but I just don't have the time or energy - the mind is willing but the flesh week. I think if you operated solely on first impressions you wouldn't have bothered reading this book - did you get a load of Gladwell? - assuming that's his photo on the back. Odd looking fellow.

Thanks, bookworm-BNE. Very interesting. Off to alice2623663 ASAP. Posted 31/7/6.

The book arrived safely today. Thanks so much for sending it. I've still got a few other bookrings to knock over first so I'll try my best to get to it soon.

I've tried several times to read this book. I kept putting it down and coming back to it but I just can't. It's not my sort of thing. Thanks for offering it but I'm going to just send it on.
