This is a book of essays on the joys of being a Roman Catholic, published in the 1950s. The author's voice is pleasant and personal.

I found the essays to be pleasant and humane. The author has a bit of impatience with "why don't they GET it when we tell them about the joy of God" but, as she converted to Catholicism, she wants to emphasize the joy and not scare people away. At the end of the book, she includes some short stories, including the title piece.
