When I wrote the first part of this book and considering normal publication and the limitations that would impose, I had a mental picture of having a white fantail pigeon in my hands and releasing it into the air to fly where it pleased and settle where it settled, without restriction. The Internet in general and Book Crossing in particular make this possible.
