Pretty predictable, but a cute story of regret and redemption.

Journal Entry 4 by collectorkerri from Springfield, Illinois USA on Monday, July 10, 2006
I really liked this one. I hadn't read any of David Baldacci's thrillers, although two are on my TBR pile. However, if this is any indication of how well I will like those books, I'm anticipating reading them soon. It was not planned this way, really--I had this next in line on my TBR pile--but I read this book nearly in its entirety on an Amtrak train (not the Capitol Limited or the Southwest Chief as in the book, but another great line--the Empire Builder). I think that made me enjoy it even more than I otherwise would have. As CarynPic said, somewhat predictable, but not distracting from the great story. It's off tomorrow to molekilby as part of the "Help! I\'m being buried by my TBR pile..." relay.

Journal Entry 6 by molekilby from BRITHDIR, Wales United Kingdom on Friday, December 22, 2006
The festive season upon us and as promised this book has been read. I wondered if this was going to be saccharin sweet, and it almost was. Reminded me of "The Cat Who..." series (I think it was the cosy telling of the characters) or a film (movie) that will be used to fill in the TV listings over Xmas at some point during the day. Enjoyable nonetheless and quite sweet. Available until I can think where to place it!

Received over Xmas for the Birthday Exchange, thank you very much. I'll have it a while before I read it as I'll save it for Xmas 2008 and then send it on it's merry way to another Book Crosser one way or the other. Thank you again, especially for picking one off my wish list.
