There are also very positive reader reviews at amazon (UK).

This book is almost 7 cm thick and contains 1047 pages of text, as well as maps and genealogies! There are THREE novels included: "The Steps to the Empty Throne", "The Path of the Hero King", and "The Price of the King's Peace". It was previously owned by a Kathryn, whose name is in the front [surname has been cut out]. I have not read this book myself.

Propped up against the Lotta Svård statue, in a bookcrossing plastic bag.

I had hoped to take a picture of the bright ballycumber bag on the base of the snow-dusted statue, but I was too rushed. This statue is near the university history departments, so I hope the book might be found by someone who will enjoy it.
