I picked this up for some light reading in a coffee shop (Ancora Cafe) as I tend to like Phyllis Whitney's mysteries. Unfortunately, when I got it home I discovered someone tore pages 119-120 out-- almost exactly in the middle of the book. I'm trying to decide whether to keep on reading and hope those two pages didn't have any vital clues in them, or wait until I can get a copy of it from the library to read the missing pages before continuing.

I'd intended to "release" the book again when I finished it, but giving someone a mystery with pages missing is about as kind as giving them a jigsaw puzzle with pieces missing, so I probably won't.
