This was brilliant. It had me glued from beginning to end and is definitely the best Tess Gerritsen that I've read to date. It is also the 4th Book in the Jane Rizzoli series even though this story focussed more on the Pathologist Dr Maura who meets her body double on the mortuary table and discovers she had a twin sister she never knew about as they were both adopted from birth. She also meets her birth mother for the first time...or is she?

I can't wait to read the next book "Vanish" in the series.

I really didn't want to pick up any more books to add to my TBR pile than necessary, however this came highly recommended by MoJeDenUK and I am such a spineless bookcrosser when it comes to a good story...nevermind that I will have to hunt down the previous 3 volumes before I can start reading it. Oh well...I tried and I failed :-)
A proper JE will follow sometime - not too soon - once read.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book - I really did not expect it to keep me in its grip so well! The story was very interesting and full of surprises until the very end, when the killer of Maura's sister is revealed. It was well worth fighting sleep to finish it at 2:30 am. It is my first book by this author and I fear now I am addicted too...

Picked this book up at a village fete. Have always enjoyed Tess Gerritsen´s books. Took it on holiday to Madeira, and will leave it in the Savoy Gardens Hotel for someone else to read.

Enjoyed the book as I do with most of Gerritsen's books, but felt that the back cover left no surprises for me when I read the book.Read the book in Goa and left it there in the library of the hotel.
