Journal Entry 1 by soquiet on Thursday, January 12, 2006
Dear Journal, Can you believe it? I'm making a road trip! My owner is sending me to a fellow Bookcrosser in California to begin my journey into the Bookcrossing world. I only hope that I can make other people as happy as I was able to make my current owner happy. Please let me succeed in this. Sincerely, Soquiet & Book

Journal Entry 3 by Chevygoddess from Willits, California USA on Monday, January 30, 2006

Sent to me from New Mexico, Thank you! 4/6/06-4/11/06 By far the best book I've read so far this year! This book was wonderful! I cried and cried, I haven't been this emotionally effected by a book in a long, long time. The author wrote of her time spent in a Japanese POW Camp in Borneo, during World War II. This book is a shinning example of why I love to read about history and true stories. The struggles and hardships people endure and survive. It reminded me off all the small freedoms I'm allowed, simply to breathe fresh air, sleep in a clean bed, have a warm healthy meal, coffee, medicine, the list of little freedoms I've taken for granted goes on and on, this book was an eye opener. The author is truly an amazing woman, a real survivor. I think I'll put it on my top 10 list. (316pgs) I loaned this book to Anna V. and she loved it also. Reserved for Thursday5
