Corinna Chapman, baker extraordinaire and amateur sleuth, returns in another delicious mystery from Kerry Greenwood, featuring cats, crime, crumpets and cravings.

If there's one thing that Corinna Chapman, baker extraordinaire and proprietor of the Earthly Delights Bakery, can't abide, it's people not eating well - particularly when there are delights like her very own, just-baked, freshly buttered sourdough bread to enjoy. So when a strange cult which denies the flesh and eats only famine bread turns up, along with a body which is found in a park, dead of malnutrition, Corinna is very disturbed indeed.

I have two copies of this - this is going to be released

8 out of 10

A nice read. I don't remember the body dead from malnutrition in the park tho...

Therre were a couple of mysteries to be solved and a lot of delicious muffins mentioned. I'll be keeping a copy of the recipes in the back too.

Thanks for sharing Sally.

Found in Stringy1's TBR pile - sorry! She isn't confident with computers and I should have found and journaled this one earlier. It has been found!

I'm an instant Greenwood fan. Even her note with her email address is a lovely touch. I loved the small glimpses of her personality (well, I'm assuming they are) that she puts into her character Corinna. I love the fact that you get recipes at the end of the book. I love that there is a great community of people in this one apartment block & CATS!! The storyline itself was interesting but it was the characters that made this a hit for me!

This woman knows how to appeal to a bookworm.

Now this book is making a very special journey - mailing to leeny37 who was the only person to enter my 200 releases draw (yey!).

Thanks erinoc for the RABCK! :) This one is my favourite in the Corrina Chapman series so I look forward to re-reading this soon. And I really must try the recipe for Jason's orgasmic chocolate muffins soon...
