Every crime is a mystery story with a motive at its heart. With the brilliant insight he brought to his renowned work inside the FBI's elite serial-crime unit, John Douglas pieces together motives behind violent sociopathic behavior. He not only takes us into the darkest recesses of the minds of arsonists, hijackers, bombers, poisoners, assassins, serial killers, and mass murderers, but also the seemingly ordinary people who suddenly kill their families or go on a rampage in the workplace.

I finally took the time to read this intriguing book. When I read or watch thrillers, I always like how the profiler can find out so much about the culprit by looking at the same facts that mean vrtually nothing to me. While reading this book, I found out how they do it. At least, I now know it is part methodology and a much larger part practice and learning-by-experience.

This book will spend some time with my co-worker, who has seen the book during out trainrides together and is interested in the subject.

Zo lief van je. Ik had veel langer willen kletsen maar helaas.

Ik heb dit boek nog niet gelezen en het lijkt me interressant

This is so sweet of you AnnevO. Thinking of me cause you know I love to read True Crime books. I have not yet read this and it looks interesting. Too bad I became so sick at the meeting and only stayed for 15 minutes.
