Picked this up at a great second-hand shop in London. I'm really looking forward to reading it.
I loved this book!! It was so funny that I laughed out loud a number of times on the train. Having done some hiking over a long distance with a heavy pack of food I could really relate to the stories in this book!!
Have released this at the Kyoto bookcrosser's meet-up today.

I caught the book at our monthly meet-up in Kyoto, at time at ACE-cafe. After reading the book I realized I have found an other America, how surprising and beautiful the naure is. I would like to hike the Appalachian Trail some day...but not alone for sure, with the expreiend hikker. Thanx a lot LilB.
I enjoyed this book very much, especially the part of the conversation between Katz and the author. I will bring this book to the BookCrossing meeting today.
This has come back to me and I will be sending to my brother who will be going on a hiking trip this summer with some other members of my family....maybe a timely read!
have given this book to a friend ... hoping to get her hooked on bookcrossing!
