Eric, a bored, 14 year old boy conjures up a demon to fulfil three wishes...who shows up and what he actually gets make the story laugh out loud funny.
One piece of useful information I learned...if I ever find the fountain of youth, I will be sure to boil the water before drinking it!

Off to JMG49 today! Enjoy. Thanks for sharing this with me daidy.

I received this Discworld book today as my part in the bookring. I'll read it and pass it on. I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

Funny! This was a great holiday on the front porch read. I'm sure the neighbours think I'm crazy sitting there chuckling away to myself.
I am sending it off to Wales to "Starry-Starry" this afternoon.

Journal Entry 6 by Starry-Starry from Llandrindod Wells, Wales United Kingdom on Wednesday, July 30, 2003
Received today, thanks very much jmg49. This is a very timely arrival as I have just finished a bookray, so can start on it straight away. Looking forward to catching up with Rincewind and the Luggage again.

Terry Pratchett is great isn't he. I liked this book, not one of my favourites (it didn't have an witches in it) but it is laugh out loud in places. As usual TP's imagination blows my mind, loved the Creator and the sandwich on the beach. As it's such a short book it's great for a quick pick-me-up after a hard days work.

Onwards to kikimasu next
