Both myself and my partner fancy this book. We will probably fight over who reads it first!
I won the fight, but as you can see it took a while to surface. I did enjoy this book. Whilst reading I was reminded of John O'Farrell's style, but then realised it wasn't as sarcastic or unrealistic. The characters were well drawn and all the loose ends were tied.
I then had a feeling what type of genre would you call this, and it's definitely "blokey chick lit". Very highly recommended. Will be sent to camis as soon as I have an address.

Received safely today - thank you. Heading to the rocky heights of Mount TBR for now.
A very enjoyable read - funny yet thought-provoking.

Thank you, Camis. I had forgotten all about requesting this book.
I enjoyed this easy-to-read entertaining book. The main theme of the book was interesting. The main character is in his early thirties and discovers that he has a thirteen-year-old daughter as a result of a vacation fling years earlier. He is dealing with his own desires to have children and his wife's reluctance to have children. It was interesting to see how everything works itself out in a very well-behaved way with no yelling, screaming, bitterness or verbal abuse. Would that life was like that always all that.
