This books tells of Lance Armstrong's battle to overcome cancer, but also tells of his early life and his introducion to competitive cycling. We also learn about the technicalities of competitive cycling: the training regimes of top professional cyclists, how the peleton works, what its like to ride in the middle of the peleton, how the teams work together to protect their top rider and enable him to win stages. Lance shares the pain of the long, uphills stages in the pouring rain, and the joy of winning.

Found this book at a picnic area at Contin forest on Tuesday 3rd January 2006, I have taken the home and have started reading it and then plan to release it as soon as I have finished reading it. I will probably release it somewhere south of Inverness.
