Still to be read, but seeing as I have loved all Maeve Binchy books so far, i can't see that this would be much different!
Journal Entry 2 by peanutlion from Birmingham, West Midlands United Kingdom on Saturday, January 7, 2006
As a sucker for Maeve's books it was everything that I love about them. This one tells the story of 7 people who all get the 'Lilac Bus' from Dublin to their home town of Rathdoon each weekend. Tells the tale of the Friday night trip and the subsequent weekend from each person's perspectives.
I've marked down a point because I'm not convinced Binchy put the stories in the right order which meant that the end was a little hollow. Would have been better to end with someone more poignant.
