Journal Entry 3 by defronk from Suttons Bay, Michigan USA on Friday, January 27, 2006
Found the book on a barrel in The Clarence pub Jan. 20th while my wife and I were on vacation in London. Had never heard of Bookcrossing, and was instantly sold on the idea and intrigue of finding/leaving books around. Being retired and able to travel frequently, I plan to leave this and other books wherever I go. Thirty years ago, five years after graduating college, a partner and I opened a used and rare bookstore in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the "West Side Bookshop". I left the partnership after a few years, but my ex-partner still runs it. Ever since, I have been a book collector - at least to the extent my finances and shelf-space would allow. Bookcrossing will add a new dimension to my travels and book collecting.
