In this episode former senator Alphonse Santini has come to the Inn for his wedding. His overbearing attitude aggravates Sarah Quilliam who runs the Inn, and her sister Meg, who is the chef. At the same time, the former members of the Hemlock Chamber of Commerce have split and formed two new groups which are organized by gender. The men take mysterious trips into the woods to play on drums and find their true nature while the women are beginning to have real feminist leanings. An inquisitive tv reporter named Nora Cahill comes to cover the proceedings.
