It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post. The Beach House (Hardcover)

I liked this one.
Received this book in the mail today. Thank you terra57 :)
Overall, a quick and easy read. I enjoyed the plot and how the story unfolded.
With the book mostly written in first person and with Jack looking into the death of his brother I kept picturing, in my head, some old black and white dectective type movie. You know the kind... the detective is sitting behind his desk, smoke is rising from his cigarette sitting in the ash tray, and he is describing his next plan of action. ("When the babe told me what he had done to her, I was outraged, but I kept my cool...")

I enjoyed the book. A quick and easy read. It kept my interest throughout the whole book. I must admit I was surprised by the reason for the murder, the people involved, and how big the coverup was.
sent on 8/29/07 to likestoreadinFL, the winner of the Happy Day RABCK. Happy reading!
Thanks so much! Was in the mail today.
Quick, easy read. As was mentioned by a previous journaler, the point of view was interesting. Not bad!
