Edit 29/1/08: Oops, didn't journal between reading it and passing it on. While I wasn't that interested in the story or the people, the language was at the perfect level for me - I got a few new words out of it (I'm putting some in a list on Wordie), but I was able to understand most of it. Left it with my sister in New Zealand. Thanks again for sending all those books!
