"A novel of heroism, love and a war that refuses to end."
On its way in ink-heart´s book box.
Journal Entry 3 by Herrundmeyer from Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg Germany on Friday, February 24, 2006
I took this from the book box. TBR
so-so.
On the one hand, this book centres around a part of WW II I didn't know much about, but the 60s perspective is not authentic. It's all about name-dropping of 60s contemporaries, just to show that it's in the 60s. The ending is more fast-paced and could be made into a movie, but earlier parts are boring.
