This book was first published as Moving On but has now been republished as above. It isn't as heartrending a read as The Kid but still a must read for those of you who like to have a start, middle and ending and this is now a really happy ending for Kevin Lewis who suffered horrendous abuse from the evil vixen who gave birth to him. History had also started to repeat itself with one of his sisters, whose children were also taken into care, because she beat them and horror of horrors, the authorities were evening considering that the evil vixen help to take care of them herself!

There was apparently a documentary made about The Kid, which regrettably I didn't see and didn't know about and the film crew went back to the pink tin shack with Kevin, where he lived as a child and they found a scrawled message on the bedroom wall bearing the words: "help me".

Kevin also met up with his caring teacher Colin again and his former foster parents and he also confronts Dennis and Gloria one final time in their respective homes. He is never short of surprises!
